This year our project is called ''Things from Galicia'' so first we are going to start with a brainstorming and we will make our drawings to decorate  the classroom door

 As we are working and learning in Maths flat shapes, next you will choose a picture  that you like to draw with flat shapes as squares, circules, triangles......You have famous pictures from Vincent Van Gogh, Magritte, Johannes Vermeer, Leonardo da Vinci...

DAVID RODRIGUEZ, AN ILLUSTRATOR

 

David Rodríguez, (Vigo, 1975) is a gallician graphic designer, illustrator and writer by profession and vocational political activist.

On 29th May we had at school David Rodriguez'visit, an illustrator who came to give us a workshop.

Then each student make their drawing following his instructions.

Below different, unique and very curious drawings where fantasy is the main element.

Reading and Drawing on April 23rd

To celebrate World Book Day on April 23rd, we are going to promote different books relates to the environment and nature. Once again reading and drawing will come together to discover new worlds.

On April 1st  we celebrate Galician Arts Day. This year it is dedicated to the figure of ISAAC DÍAZ PARDO. So first we need to know more about him and his work. 

We owe him to the famous Sargadelos ceramic.

23rd Rosalia's Day

 On the 23rd of February, we celebrate Rosalia's Day  at school . Let's to draw Rosalia and add some stanzas from one of hers poem.

14th February Valentine's Day

 Let's have a  special Valentine's Day and prepare

1---- some origami tasks as a red heart-shaped bookmark

2---- a different Valentine's card with some pink and red heart-shaped balloons. You only need pink and red watercolour paint and a cardboard  roll of toilet paper
