PABLO PICASSO

Take your Galician book   and read pages from   about the great and spanish artist called Picasso.

Tasks to do:

1st. : A drawing about the circus world of Picasso' s pink stage, you can look for inspiration in his paintings. Remember the colour pink   should be present in the background of your drawing

2nd. You can create your craft or sculpture   with cardboard as cubist style like Picasso.

ANDY WARHOL

ANDY WARHOL, (Pittsburgh, 6 August 1928-New York, 22 February 1987) was an American visual artist and actor who played a crucial role in the birth and development of pop art. After a successful career as a professional illustrator, Warhol gained worldwide fame for his work in painting, avant-garde film and literature, a notoriety that was supported by a skillful relationship with the media and his role as a guru of modernity. Warhol acted as a liaison between artists and intellectuals, but also between aristocrats, homosexuals, Hollywood celebrities, models, bohemians and colourful urban characters.

Warhol used a variety of media to create his works, including hand drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, screen printing, sculpture, film and music.

Task : What are you going to create?

Think about an object,  an animal or famous people, you can draw it two or four times, the drawing is going to be the same but you have to change the background, it will be  in a different colour.

Christmas 2025

Let's celebrate Christmas. How? 

First by decorating our classroom (with elements from Galicia like mistletoe or the character " Apalpador"), and secondly making our own Christmas card.

Fall/Autumn 2025

  

Fall arrived and the  colours changed. Green gave way to red, yellow and orange. The trees lost their leaves. The wind and cold are present every day.

2nd task to draw your  Samaín drawing with some of the following elements:

Working with Canva app

 

Today we want to  learn how to use a new app called Canva. We will use it to design posters, greetings cards, everything it is possible. All we  need is imagination..........

First, we need a gmail account, and to log in.

Second, we choose horizontal or vertical presentation. Now we can add or delete what we want, move elements........

Welcome dear students to this new academic year 2025/2026 and to our art class!

This year our project is called ''Things from Galicia'' so first we are going to start with a brainstorming and we will make our drawings to decorate  the classroom door

Therefore we can decorate our door:

-  with the main monuments from Galicia ( Santiago, Lugo, A Coruña, Ourense and Pontevedra) in 5º A.

-  with different lighthouses in 5º B  : Cabo Prior lighthouse, Corrubedo lighthouse, Cabo Vilán lighthouse , Cies lighthouse, Illa Pancha lighthouse, Hercules Tower, Cabo Silleiro and, Fisterra lighthouse.

-  with Gallician musical instruments  in 5º C, (pandeireta, gaita, charrasco, tixola, triángulo, ferreñas, zanfona....)
