On April 1st  we celebrate Galician Arts Day. This year it is dedicated to the figure of ISAAC DÍAZ PARDO. So first we need to know more about him and his work.

23rd Rosalia's Day

 On the 23rd of February, we celebrate Rosalia's Day  at school . Let's to draw Rosalia and add some stanzas from one of hers poem.

14th February Valentine's Day

 Let's have a  special Valentine's Day and prepare

1---- some origami tasks as a red heart-shaped bookmark

2---- a different Valentine's card with some pink and red heart-shaped balloons. You only need pink and red watercolour paint and a cardboard  roll of toilet paper

Aromatic and medicinal plants

This year we are going to our garden for different tasks. Sometimes we will plant, sow or carry out cleaning tasks. Other times in class we will carry out research activities or tasks on different crops like rosemary, one of the plants we grow. For this reason, we will ilustrate our plant files with different drawings. 2nd aromatic and medicinal plant : thyme

We are going to draw what we plant in the greenhouse and the second bed. We will also draw some bulbs like tulips,lilies, daffodils, hyacinths.

GEORGIA O'KEEFE

 

Let's meet a different artist. She comes from the USA and she is one of the greatest representatives of modern art in the   United States. Her name is Georgia O'Keefe  (1887 - 1986) .His personal style is an amalgam of Native American art, modernism, abstract art, art deco and surrealism.

First look for information and learn more about her.                

Then choose one of her masterpiece  (flowers, landscapes, buildings)  and draw your version:
